We accommodate all sizes, genders, first bra fittings, bridal fittings, and pre-post surgical fittings for reconstructive surgery, cancer, patients, breast enhancements, etc.
We will factor in our knowledge about our brands, bra styles and how they fit to successfully find your perfect bra. After reviewing your details, we will then provide you your size, and links to recommended bra styles that we carry. Finding bras in larger cup sizes are difficult but Natalie made it seamless for me. I cannot praise her enough for how amazing she made me feel.

Strapless? They have them. Racerback? They have them. Push-up? They have them. Colorful? They definitely have them. This is a great store to get fitted for a bra. Natalie has the expertise to fit anybody.
Finally… it’s really hard to find comfortable panties – Lingerie Republique carry Chantelle underwear. (I stay away from the bikini style). I like these so much I give them as gifts to friends!

I almost forgot about this place the past couple of years – but I needed a new yoga sport bra and I remembered how this place really goes the extra mile to make sure you get a bra that fits perfectly. Natalie is amazing and it was liking so an old friend when I came in. Small discreet store where you know you are getting top quality and will have a functional and pretty bra or lounge wear, etc when you leave. Definitely worth a few extra dollars to support a local personalized service retailer. I’m so relieved that they are still in business!
The cutest lingerie shop in Palo Alto and wayyyyy beyond! It is always a pleasure to do some window shopping of neat, sexy and comfortable clothes that you might want to share with the world or just with you! Not your Victoria Secret massive and super touched merchandise. Very classy, chic, great brands and all sizes. Great that they carry the best designs for big sizes, not usual in this type of clothing.
I needed a strapless bra for my wedding dress. So naturally I googled places other than Victoria’s Secret and to my surprise Natalie’s shop popped up. Her shop is beautiful! She was super nice and extremely helpful. She was able to get my measurements with just one look at me! I thought I was a DDD but nope not at all. Target and Victoria’s Secret had me sized all wrong! I was helped by Natalie–omg she was so so so sweet! I haven’t gotten a new lingerie set in a very long time; she could not have been more helpful. I tried on an assortment of bras, panties, garters, etc and she helped me put them on so that the girls 😉 were looking sharp and so that i felt comfortable. I’ve never felt good in a bra, but she took one look at me and diagnosed the problem: i was wearing the wrong size. She gave me the correct size, how to wear the right one, and even taught me how to latch stockings to garters (without snagging the fabric). Natalie made this experience fun, easy, and elegant.

Natalie is an amazing resource if you are ever looking for a gift. I gave the store a call (as I’ve been mostly staying home during Covid-19), and explained that I was looking for something nice for my wife’s upcoming birthday. Natalie asked a few questions and really got a feel for what I was looking for, and what might work best for my wife. She then walked through some options and we came up with something I’m sure my wife will enjoy! Plus she wrapped it up nicely and shipped it directly to my house, even though I could have done curbside pickup.
All in all a great experience, and once I will definitely recommend to friends.

The only place I can find bras that fit perfect. The owner is so good that it fixed my posture. I no longer have back pain because for her expertise. Natalie helped me remotely figure out what bra would be best for me and my body type. I really wasn’t sure what size I was and how it would work but from a picture she knew exactly what size I would be (what kind of sorcery is this) I decided I have nothing to lose. We figured out which styles I wanted and she shipped me the sizes we discussed. Holy moly she truly is a magician because they fit like a glove! I can’t begin to emphasize how important it is to have the right fitting bra and what a huge difference it makes. How long does a professional bra fitting take?
At Lingerie République, we recommend allowing 20 to 30 minutes for a professional bra fitting. This ensures we have enough time to assess your current fit, determine your true size, and explore different silhouettes—such as plunge, balconette, or full-cup—that best suit your unique shape.
How often should I get a professional bra fitting?
We recommend a fitting every 6 to 12 months. Your body is constantly changing due to fitness routines, hormonal shifts, and aging. Even if your weight remains the same, your tissue density and distribution can change, requiring a different style or size.
Do I need to make an appointment for a fitting?
While we always welcome walk-ins at our Palo Alto boutique, booking an appointment is highly recommended. This ensures you have a dedicated fitter and a private dressing suite reserved specifically for your session.
What should I wear to my fitting?
We suggest wearing your most comfortable everyday bra (preferably non-padded). This helps our fitters see how your current foundation is performing. Avoid sports bras or heavily padded push-ups, as they can obscure your natural silhouette.
How do I know if my bra is the wrong size?
There are four “red flag” signs:

The back band is riding up toward your shoulders.

The underwire is poking or resting on your breast tissue rather than your ribcage.

Your breasts are spilling over the top of the cups (the “quad-boob” effect).

Your straps are digging in or constantly slipping off, even after adjustment.
What exactly is a “Sister Size”?
Sister sizes are different band and cup combinations that hold the same volume of breast tissue. For example, if a 34D feels too tight in the ribs, your “sister size” would be a 36C. Our fitters are experts at navigating these conversions across different international brands.
Why do my bra straps always fall down?
Contrary to popular belief, slipping straps usually mean your band is too large, not that the straps are too loose. When the band is too big, it slides up your back, which creates slack in the straps. A snugger band pulls the straps back into their proper position.
Why does the underwire poke or dig into my skin?
This is often a sign that the cup is too small or the wire width is incorrect for your frame. When a cup is too small, the wire cannot sit flat against your ribcage and instead rests on sensitive breast tissue. Our expert fitters specialize in finding the wire shape—whether wide or narrow—that matches your natural root.
How can I make my luxury lingerie last longer?
Preserve the life of your lingerie by skipping the machine. Hand-washing in cold water with a specialized wash is the only way to maintain the integrity of fine lace and technical fabrics.
